The Speed Encoder Sensor Module uses an optical groove-coupling setup with an IR emitter and receiver, alongside an LM393 comparator to produce clean digital pulses as a wheel or disc interrupts the beam. Powered at 3.3–5 V, it offers stable output and a bolt mounting hole. Ideal for measuring motor speed, generating RPM data, counting rotations, and integrating into robotics or automation systems using Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi.
